CallaLily TV is a client for a Jellyfin media server — specifically, a server you or someone you trust runs and controls. This app has no account of its own, no analytics, and no advertising. What follows is the complete list of where information goes when you use it.
Your media server
The server address, and the username and password (or API key) you sign in with, are stored only in your device's Keychain. They are sent only to the server address you entered, to authenticate and to load your library, playback and watch-history data — never to us or to anyone else.
The Movie Database (TMDB)
To show posters, cast, ratings and related-title information beyond what your server already provides, the app queries TMDB's public API. Titles you search for and browse are sent to TMDB to look up that metadata. This is the same kind of request any TMDB-backed app makes; see TMDB's own privacy policy for how they handle it. You can supply your own TMDB API key in Settings in place of the one built into the app, which changes nothing about what's sent — only which key sends it.
Checking for updates
The app asks GitHub's public API once per launch whether a newer version exists, so it can tell you when one does. This is an anonymous request for release information — no data about you or your device is included.
What we don't do
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No advertising identifiers or ad networks
- No crash reports sent anywhere
- No account, sign-up or profile held by us
- No data sold, shared for advertising, or used to track you across other apps or websites
